Comfort Women: A New Musical
Comfort Women: A New Musical is a musical about the dark history of World War II.
Comfort women were Korean women who were sold as sex slaves for the Imperial Japanese Army. I created an animation sequence that was projected onto the stage. It opened the musical, adding historical context.
Performed at Playwrights Horizons in NYC.
