By Design is Vox’s video series about the intersection of design and technology.

Design
I usually start with designing the title sequence when I create a style guide for a new show. Oddly, music is really important for me to get started — even though the song we pick for the title slate doesn’t always stay. The producer, Christophe, had a really great jazzy drumbeat tune to get this one started and it became one of my favorites.
